Mule Deer Foundation Volunteer Day

The North Dakota Petroleum Foundation is teaming up with the Mule Deer Foundation and U.S. Forest Service to remove old fencing in prime Mule Deer habitat and replace it with wildlife friendly fencing.
We will be working to remove about 2 miles of fencing and need volunteers to remove staples and lay fencing down for easy roll-up.

Wednesday, April 26, 2023
Estimated start time will be 9 a.m. MDT. We will work until the project is completed or 5 p.m. MDT. Lunch will be provided by ONEOK.
WHERE
McKenzie County
Project location is about 5 miles south of the ONEOK Grasslands Plant.
Meeting place will be at the intersection of Bennie Peer Road/Hwy 38 and One-O-One Road. The project location is just a few miles down One-O-One Road.

-Pick-ups or truck or trailers to haul fence posts
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers will be pulling staples from fence posts, laying down fence for rolling, loading and moving fenceposts to disposal site.
