North Dakota Elk Tag Raffle
The North Dakota Petroleum Foundation is selling raffle tickets for a North Dakota Elk tag. Proceeds will benefit the Foundation’s conservation, habitat and education programs. Through the NDPF’s Planting for the Future Program, we’ve planted more than 350,000 trees since 2018 and contributed to numerous outdoors groups and projects that rehabilitate and enhance habitat and outdoor opportunities throughout the state.
$100 per ticket
A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be available for sale. Tickets must be purchased in North Dakota and with cash or check.
Checks can be made payable to "North Dakota Petroleum Foundation," memo: Elk Raffle.

RULES & REGULATIONS
Elk Tag: This special allocation license (SAL) may be used during any open season or unit that is specified in the governor’s proclamation. The (SAL) recipient may only use firearms or archery equipment that are legal for the season and species.
Both residents and nonresidents (including from foreign countries) are eligible for this SAL. An individual must be 14 years of age or older by December 31 of the license year.
If an individual receives an elk or moose license through the Game and Fish Department General Lottery, they may not also receive an elk or moose license for this special allocation tag. The recipient may, however, donate this special allocation license to someone else.

Restrictions: An individual who has been convicted of illegally taking a moose, elk, or bighorn sheep is not eligible to apply for or receive a license.
Drawing: The drawing for this special allocation license will be held Thursday, July 18 at about 6:45 p.m. at the Bakken Rocks CookFest in Tioga, ND (Visit NDPetroleumFoundation.org/CookFest for more info about this event). Per North Dakota Gaming rules, the first ticket drawn will be for the elk license and set aside to be announced following other prize drawings. Other prizes will be drawn in order of descending value.
Winners need not be present to win and will be notified within seven days of the drawing.
