Fishing for Habitat
The Bakken Classic Club is a conservation committee of the Foundation that helps raise money for habitat, wildlife and outdoor access projects throughout the state. Members of the club participate in a fishing tournament each year to raise awareness about these and other projects. The tournament was started in 2013 and has raised more than $96,000 for projects. Funds have been used to help the Mule Deer Foundation, Pheasants Forever, the Fingal Wildlife Club, and the Planting for the Future Tree Habitat Program, among others.
Bakken Classic Club members get first priority in the Bakken Classic Fishing Derby, a charity tournament to raise money for projects that promote outdoor access, habitat and more.
